On August 15, the 19th "Siemens Cup" China Intelligent Manufacturing Challenge National Finals came to an end at Taiyuan University of Technology. This competition attracted more than 36,000 teachers and students from 968 universities, 10,737 teams and more than 36,000 students from all over the country. After 5 days of competition, 6 teams from our school finally won 1 national grand prize, 2 first prizes, and 2 second prizes, setting a new record for the best results in the history of this event.

The "BUG Retreat Team" of the Engineering Training Center won the national special prize (first place) in the undergraduate group of the industrial embedded system development competition, and was awarded the Siemens Competition Trophy and Scholarship. The "Can Only Black Tea" team of the School of Electronic and Electrical Engineering won the first prize in the undergraduate group of the discrete industry automation (logic algorithm) competition; The "Light Machine Gun Commando" of the Higher Vocational College won the first prize in the higher vocational group of the discrete industry automation (engineering practice) competition; The "Benben Team" of the School of Electronic and Electrical Engineering won the second prize in the undergraduate group of the Lean Manufacturing and Collaborative Robot Competition; The "Hard Craftsman" team of the Engineering Training Center won the second prize in the undergraduate group of the industrial hardware research and development competition.

Since the launch of this competition, under the organization and coordination of the College of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, under the organization and active participation of the School of Electronic and Electrical Engineering, Engineering Training Center and other departments, the participating teams are not afraid of difficulties, brave the heat, and continue to explore and work hard in the participating competitions. It has laid a solid foundation for our school to make breakthroughs in this competition.
