On the afternoon of November 24th, the Innovation and Entrepreneurship College held a symposium at Conference Room 1438 of the Practical Training Building to discuss the optimization of the management mechanisms for the University Student Innovation Training Program and the reference standards for project approval evaluations. The aim was to further refine the program’s management system and align it with the university’s latest requirements for talent development and innovation and entrepreneurship education. Representatives of key faculty members involved in innovation and entrepreneurship education from various colleges participated in the discussions.

During the symposium, experts engaged in in-depth deliberations on core issues, including the optimization of the program’s management mechanisms and the refinement of evaluation criteria. In light of the growing trend of interdisciplinary collaborative education, the experts provided constructive suggestions on the weighting of four key evaluation dimensions—project innovation, feasibility, team capability, and project value—as well as the detailed elaboration of scoring rubrics.

This symposium established a scientific reference framework for the evaluation of the University Student Innovation Training Program, clarified the implementation direction of “enhancing quality and increasing quantity,” and contributed to standardizing the project approval process while improving project quality. The outcomes lay a solid foundation for deepening the reform of innovation and entrepreneurship education and fostering students’ innovative spirit and practical abilities.
